Lake City includes 5 smaller neighborhoods – Victory Heights, Meadowbrook, Matthews Beach, Cedar Park, and Olympic Hills.

The neighborhood sits along the shores of Lake Washington in northeast Seattle, with Northgate and Maple Leaf to the west, Wedgwood and Sand Point to the south, and the city limits to the north. Highway 522, also known as Lake City Way, cuts through the neighborhood, providing numerous amenities, shopping, and dining. Lake City grew as World War II ended, bringing young families who purchased midcentury modest homes. You’ll also find condos, newer town homes, and apartments throughout the neighborhood.
